I am a Lead Economist in the Economic Research Department at the South African Reserve Bank, and a Senior Lecturer in the School of Economics at the University of Cape Town. I received my PhD in Economics from Stanford University in 2018.
My research interests lie in the field of public economics covering topics such as labour markets, education, health, social grants, inequality and taxation.
